Understanding lottery prize breakdowns

Read prize tiers, winner counts, jackpots and regular payments correctly.

Each prize table belongs to a particular lottery and draw. “Prize per winner” is the amount for one winning entry in that tier. “Winners” counts the entries in the stated market; UK and worldwide counts are labelled separately where both are supplied.

Two-round results keep Round 1 and Round 2 winner counts separate. Where both rounds have the same payout, the table can show one prize amount beside the two counts. If payouts differ, they remain separate.

A draw jackpot describes the displayed draw. A next-draw estimate concerns a future draw and may change. The two values are labelled separately. A missing draw jackpot must not be replaced with a future estimate without changing the label.
